The Peoples Choice is an annual scientific survey that reaches out to thousands of Berks County residents to ask about their experiences. That information is used to determine which businesses and organizations have fostered positive consumer relationships over the years by providing valuable services and displaying a commitment to quality.

This academic year, Alvernia university was ranked as a national doctoral university by U.S. News and World Report. The university was also recognized by in nine categories including its business programs, nursing programs, career development efforts and military support was named a2022-23 national, Catholic and Pennsylvania College of Distinction.
